How to register for the HESI
In order to take the HESI exam, you must create an Evolve account. You will need a username and password to take the exam. If you do not create an account before your test date, you will not be able to sit for this exam.

What Sections Do I Take?
Effective beginning with the Spring 2021 admission window, the HESI will include critical thinking.
BSN – Reading Comprehension*, Critical Thinking, Vocabulary & General Knowledge, Grammar, Basic Math Skills, Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry
*Students will have until September 30th to retake the Reading Comprehension section only.
Scores
You will receive an unofficial copy of your score report upon completing your exam. All scores must be reported to the Nursing Department. Students are not allowed to cancel scores after the completion of testing. The testing center will provide official scores to the nursing department.

Testing Accommodations
To request accommodations for the HESI because of a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act of 1990 including the amendments of 2008, you must:
- Register with the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC), submit documentation of your disability, and meet with the director of the ARC at least 1 week before your test date.
