Graduate Faculty Review
Majority of applications are in, some still need signatures, a few did not respond at all. We plan to finalize this review in January 2022.
New Business
Fine Arts & Communication
Music – non substantial degree plan revision to include existing courses MUED 5360 Advanced Choral Conducting and MULT 5391 Popular Music of the 20th Century as additional electives in the Master of Music – Music Performance concentration area. Motion to accept: Welch, Second: Henderson, motion passed.
Discussed issues with previously approved course changes for Biology and History. Changes were approved by Graduate Council in September 2021. These were updates to course titles, but need further revision and will not be moving forward for the February 2022 Board of Regents meeting. We will work with Planning & Assessment to develop guidelines for review by Graduate Council.
