Benjamin Choate is earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. His thesis Scallywags Family Fun Center displays his skills as a designer by creating an architectural model of a site-specific location in downtown Beaumont, Texas. Posters, flyers, business cards, and clothing are included to brand the event space using digital design platforms that portray the lessons taught at Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô. The design is inspired by modern park recreational designs which balances preservation with architectural intervention to create a vibrant cultural and commercial park. The project aims to bring life back to downtown Beaumont by creating a safe and exciting event space for friends and family.
