�鶹ӳ��Ӱ�� faculty and staff joined researchers from across Texas to advance their research portfolios, taking top prizes at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) Annual Research Conference (TARC).

�鶹ӳ��Ӱ��'s Collegiate 100 (C100) group was honored with a prestigious recognition by Beaumont City Council on August 15 for their exceptional contributions to the local community and as representatives of �鶹ӳ��Ӱ�� at the C100 Leadership and Career Institute Conference.

Cody Tran, a finance major from Port Arthur, Texas, will be awarded the Ben J. Rogers scholarship and inducted to the Texas Business Hall of Fame.

Antonio Lopez Maldonado, �鶹ӳ��Ӱ�� political science major, was one of 22 students accepted to attend a four-week internship at the Duke University School of Law.

High school students across Southeast Texas gathered for LU's College of Engineering Project Engineer camp from July 17 to July 21. Campers explored all aspects of �鶹ӳ��Ӱ�� Engineering, visiting different department labs to learn about the various disciplines and research opportunities available to LU engineering students.

�鶹ӳ��Ӱ�� held its Summer Commencement ceremony at the Montage Center on Saturday, August 5, recognizing the remarkable achievements of 975 graduates.

LU Honoree Michael Fuljenz, president of Universal Coin & Bull in Beaumont, Texas, will be the recipient of the highest honor bestowed by the Congressionally-chartered American Numismatic Association.
