First-Year Engineering Math Bootcamp is week long camp that happens the week before school begins, where students get refresher math courses in the morning and get connections in the afternoon. Afternoon activities include alumni panels, internship information sessions, and fun activities like Freshman Design. We would love to have you sponsor Engineering Bootcamp, or participate in any of the events.

Week of Welcome is the first week of each semester, where we welcome students back to school. Students are able to get involved, learn about campus life, get connected, and have fun! The College of Engineering hosts events for our students during this week, and we would love to have you sponsor an event or join us on campus. Week of Welcome includes events like Slice and Dice (Pizza and Games), Donuts with the Dean, College Kahoot, or any event you can think of!

The Student Engineering Council hosts an annual Engineering Week bash, along with fun E-Week events throughout the week hosted by different student organizations. Held annual in February, students are able to celebrate how engineering's make a difference in the world, and take a break from studying to enjoy their time as a student. Sponsorship is open to one or multiple E-Week events, including activities such as Jumping World, bowling night, Breakfast with Benson, Cherry Lawn Cook-out, and more.

Hosted in the Setzer Center ballroom, scholarship students from the College of Engineering can network, get their professional headshot taken, and eat! Sponsor a Senior Capstone Project to enhance the student experience and create a real-world scenario project for our students. Capstone projects are done in teams, with department teams and interdisciplinary teams. Every team is open to sponsorship to help them complete the project in which they design and prototype a product, device, process or software system. Teams compete in the annual Senior Design Symposium and showcase their projects to friends, family, faculty, staff, and industry partners.

Senior Design Symposium is the culminating experience for graduating seniors, where they present their capstone project. Sstudent teams present their projects and selected findings to a team of judges comprised of industry and faculty. Senior Design Symposium draws visitors from the community and industry, as well prospective students interested in exploring engineering.

In order to stimulate enthusiasm and a love for STEM in high school students, the College of Engineering hosts VEX Robotics tournaments. Ran by our Robotics Cardinals student organization, facilitated by staff, these competitions are a fun-filled Saturday with matches that allow high school students to discover the engineering design process in an exciting way.

Discover Engineering is a free community event that provides fun, engaging activities to get kids excited about engineering and other STEM careers. ChemE Camp is a week-long day camp where 11th-12th grade campers participate in hands-on activities and lessons intended to introduce them to the concepts of chemical engineering. The camp will introduce them to common equipment used by Chemical Engineers, incorporate hands-on activities with the Chem-E car, and engage in industry plant tours. Industry partners can sponsor this event, and they can also give plant tours or lab tours to these high school juniors and seniors.
