Tuition Assistance

Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô offers two valuable programs: the Faculty/Staff Course Enrollment and the Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô Tuition Assistance Program (LUTAP). These programs are designed to help employees, and their families achieve their educational goals, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth.

Faculty/Staff Course Enrollment 

  • Who Can Apply:
    Full-time employees who have been with the university for a minimum of six months.
  • What It Covers:
    The plan includes any course at Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô that offers academic or technical credit, such as undergraduate, graduate, developmental, and pre-collegiate courses.
  • Tuition Benefits:
    Employees can get tuition and fee waivers for up to two courses each fall and spring semester, and one course during the summer. The courses should be relevant to their job or part of an undergraduate degree plan.
  • Academic Standards:
    Employees must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate courses and 3.0 for graduate courses.
  • How to Apply:
    Employees need to apply for the waiver and get approval for each course. Waivers cannot be carried over to future semesters.

Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô Tuition Assistance (LUTAP) – Dependent Enrollment

The Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô Tuition Assistance Program (LUTAP) offers financial support for the spouses and dependent children of full-time employees. Employees must be full-time for four and a half months for dependents to be eligible. 

  • Who Can Apply:
    Spouses and dependent children of full-time employees at Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô.
  • What It Covers:
    100% of the tuition costs for undergraduate or graduate courses at resident tuition rates.
  • Course Options:
    Includes accelerated online courses, allowing dependents to enroll as students or visiting students for one semester.
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    Dependents must meet admission criteria, maintain good academic standing, and follow satisfactory academic progress standards.
