Abstract Submission for Graduate Research Conference

Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô’s College of Graduate Studies will host its 3rd Annual Graduate Research Conference on Feb 12 at the Setzer Student Center, Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô, Beaumont, Texas.Our theme this year is Wellness. Topics from all disciplines are encouraged: counseling nursing therapeutics, wellness practices, software and engineering designs for wellness, guidance for wellness, wellness products and resources, etc.   

Join Us

We invite you to join us for coffee, tea and pastries at 8:00 a.m. in the Setzer Center Ballroom A followed by a day of presentations, posters, workshops, and a keynote lecture by the staff of Stable Spirit.

A free pizza luncheon for graduate students will be offered for lunch. The event will close at 5 p.m. with awards for best posters and papers.  

Cost

There is no entry fee, so come to enjoy the presentations, vendors, keynote, and freebies. 


Submission Requirements

Participants should be graduate students enrolled at Â鶹ӳ»­Ó°Òô or in an invited college or university (or grad faculty as noted in the special session below). Submissions need not include the paper or poster but an effective abstract thereof and should be in English and include the following:
  • Title of the poster or paper, first and last name of the participant, college and degree program in which you are enrolled, email address, and telephone number at the top of the page. We will protect your information.
  • Abstract (up to 300 words) of the poster or paper, including its relation to the session topic. Because posters are a visual and interactive medium, please provide some information about how you will convey information visually. Posters will be 24 x 26 landscaped.
  • Indicate that the abstract is for a paper or poster.

NOTE: Graduate Student research is our primary focus. We welcome submissions for all graduate student-led research regardless of topic.
