To support student success, Texas Academy facilitates a faculty-to-student mentoring program. The mentor program pairs an individual student with a Â鶹ӳ»Ó°Òô faculty mentor in his/her area of study. The university faculty mentor cannot be a graduate student. This mentorship is regarded by the academy as critically important to the achievement of the full mission of Texas Academy. Students are required to meet with their mentor at least twice each semester, but are encouraged to meet more often as needed to accomplish the following goals:
No advance preperation is required from the faculty member. It is the students responsibility to come to each meeting prepared with their questions.
